x86GP2 recommended settings for gamepads?

just bought a new gamepad and tried it with x86GP2, but it was quite undrivable. Played around with some of the settings, but no improvement.

Are there any recommended settings for that case?

I haven't played X86gp2 yet, only regular gp2 with dosbox. I don't think the controls are much different. What settings are you trying and what are you having problem with?
